Skills
Front End Design
The main focus of my early career has been on front end design, especially XHTML and CSS. Pixel precision is my pride and my obsession. Utilizing the full typographical capacities of CSS is an emphasis in my work.
UI and Iconography
A more recent development is a focus on user interface design, iconography in particular. Walking the thin line of relying on convention while experimenting with new approaches is a challenge I enjoy. Especially because I get to whip out the pencil tool—pixel art is a big love of mine.
Search Engine Optimization
I've optimized a vast number and variety of websites to appear where their owners want them, when they want them (or more specifically, where they don't want them). I have a comprehensive understanding of modern techniques, both on-page and off, broad and specific, white-hat and black.
Film Production & Editing
I've studied film formally and in-, theory and production. I have a good grasp on Final Cut, Compressor and web video formats. I've been intimate with the tools of the grip and the gaffer on numerous occasions, from the mighty C-stand to the humble C-47.
